Paso 1
El gran desfile
Una mañana, un niño dijo: “Hoy iremos al desfile.”
La niña dijo: “¡Sí! No puedo esperar para verlo.”
Fueron al parque antes de que comenzara el desfile.
El niño dijo: “¡Mira a toda la gente!”
La niña dijo: “Quiero ver cada parte.”
El desfile comenzó. Una banda tocaba música.
La niña dijo: “Me gustan los tambores.”
El niño dijo: “Me gustan las banderas.”
Vieron otra carroza pasar.
Vieron niños pequeños bailando.
El niño dijo: “Se están divirtiendo.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y los animales también son lindos.”
Después de un rato, necesitaban agua.
El niño dijo: “Vamos a ese lugar allí.”
La niña dijo: “Buena idea. Tengo sed.”
Bebieron agua y miraron la siguiente carroza.
Al fin, el desfile terminó.
El niño dijo: “Me alegro de haber venido.”
La niña dijo: “Yo también. Podemos llamar a nuestros amigos y contarles lo que vimos.”
Caminaron a casa felices y emocionados.
El niño dijo: “Espero que podamos ir otra vez el próximo año.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, fue un muy buen día.”
Paso 2
The Big Parade
One morning, a boy said: “Today we will go to the parade.”
La niña dijo: “¡Sí! No puedo esperar para verlo.”
They went to the park before the parade started.
El niño dijo: “¡Mira a toda la gente!”
The girl said: “I want to see every part of it.”
El desfile comenzó.
Una banda tocaba música.
The girl said: “I like the drums.”
El niño dijo: “Me gustan las banderas.”
They watched another float go by.
Vieron niños pequeños bailando.
The boy said: “They are having fun.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y los animales también son lindos.”
After a while, they needed water.
El niño dijo: “Vamos a ese lugar allí.”
The girl said: “Good idea. I am thirsty.”
Bebieron agua y miraron la siguiente carroza.
At last, the parade ended.
El niño dijo: “Me alegro de haber venido.”
The girl said: “Me too. We can call our friends and tell them what we saw.”
Caminaron a casa felices y emocionados.
The boy said: “I hope we can go again next year.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, fue un muy buen día.”
Paso 3
The Big Parade
One morning, a boy said: “Today we will go to the parade.”
The girl said: “Yes! I cannot wait to see it.”
They went to the park before the parade started.
The boy said: “Look at all the people!”
The girl said:“I want to see every part of it.”
The parade began. A band played music.
The girl said: “I like the drums.”
The boy said: “I like the flags.”
They watched another float go by.
They saw small children dancing.
The boy said: “They are having fun.”
The girl said: “Yes, and the animals are cute too.”
After a while, they needed water.
The boy said: “Let us go to that place over there.”
The girl said: “Good idea. I am thirsty.”
They drank water and watched the next float.
At last, the parade ended.
The boy said: “I am glad we went.”
The girl said: “Me too. We can call our friends and tell them what we saw.”
They walked home together, happy and excited.
The boy said: “I hope we can go again next year.”
The girl said: “Yes, it was a very good day.”
