Paso 1
El jardín ayudante
Una mañana, un niño dijo: “Debemos trabajar en el jardín otra vez.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, me gusta ayudar.”
Encontraron un pequeño parterre de flores.
El niño dijo: “Estas necesitan agua.”
La niña dijo: “Traeré la regadera. Tú empieza a plantar las semillas.”
Trabajaron juntos.
El niño dijo: “Me alegra que intentemos hacerlo bonito.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, es importante ayudar y cuidar.”
Luego vieron un pajarito en un árbol.
La niña dijo: “¡Mira! El pájaro está cantando.”
El niño dijo: “Está feliz porque estamos aquí.”
Después de un rato, pusieron mantillo alrededor de las plantas.
El niño dijo: “Mantendrá las flores seguras.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y ayudará a que crezcan fuertes.”
Al fin, se detuvieron y miraron el jardín.
El niño dijo: “Hicimos un buen trabajo.”
La niña dijo: “Encontramos alegría ayudando y trabajando juntos.”
Fueron a casa felices y orgullosos.
El niño dijo: “Mañana podemos hacer más.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y llamaremos a nuestros amigos para que nos ayuden también.”
Paso 2
The Helping Garden
One morning, a boy said: “We should work in the garden again.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, me gusta ayudar.”
They found a small patch of flowers.
El niño dijo: “Estas necesitan agua.”
The girl said: “I will get the watering can. You start planting the seeds.”
Trabajaron juntos.
The boy said: “I am glad we try to make it beautiful.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, es importante ayudar y cuidar.”
Then they saw a little bird off in the tree.
La niña dijo: “¡Mira! El pájaro está cantando.”
The boy said: “It is happy because we are here.”
Después de un rato, pusieron mantillo alrededor de las plantas.
The boy said: “It will keep the flowers safe.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y ayudará a que crezcan fuertes.”
At last, they stepped back and looked at the garden.
El niño dijo: “Hicimos un buen trabajo.”
The girl said: “We found joy in helping and working together.”
Fueron a casa felices y orgullosos.
The boy said: “Tomorrow we can do more.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, y llamaremos a nuestros amigos para que nos ayuden también.”
Paso 3
The Helping Garden
One morning, a boy said: “We should work in the garden again.”
The girl said: “Yes, I like to help.”
They found a small patch of flowers.
The boy said: “These need water.”
The girl said: “I will get the watering can. You start planting the seeds.”
They worked together.
The boy said: “I am glad we try to make it beautiful.”
The girl said: “Yes, it is important to help and care.”
Then they saw a little bird off in the tree.
The girl said: “Look! The bird is singing.”
The boy said: “It is happy because we are here.”
After a while, they put mulch around the plants.
The boy said: “It will keep the flowers safe.”
The girl said: “Yes, and it will help them grow strong.”
At last, they stepped back and looked at the garden.
The boy said: “We did a good job.”
The girl said: “We found joy in helping and working together.”
They went home happy and proud.
The boy said: “Tomorrow we can do more.”
The girl said: “Yes, and we will call our friends to help too.”
