Paso 1
El gato perdido
Un día, una niña salió a buscar a su gato.
Vio al gato cerca de un árbol.
El gato corrió rápido.
La niña corrió tras él.
Ella dijo: “¡Vuelve! ¡No te vayas lejos!”
El gato corrió debajo de un coche.
La niña buscó y buscó.
Llamó: “¡Aquí, gatito! ¡Aquí, gatito!”
Un niño vino y dijo: “¿Puedo ayudar?”
La niña dijo: “Sí, por favor.
El gato está perdido.”
El niño dijo: “Te ayudaré a encontrarlo.”
Fueron al parque.
Miraron detrás del banco.
Miraron cerca del columpio.
Miraron debajo del tobogán.
Por fin, el gato salió de un arbusto.
La niña dijo: “¡Oh, estás a salvo!”
El niño dijo: “Me alegro de que lo hayamos encontrado.”
La niña recogió al gato y lo abrazó.
El gato ronroneó y miró a la niña.
Ella dijo: “No te dejaré ir lejos otra vez.”
El niño sonrió y dijo: “Ahora estás feliz.”
La niña y el niño caminaron a casa.
El gato caminó con ellos.
Estaban contentos y cansados.
Paso 2
The Lost Cat
One day, a girl went out to find her cat.
Vio al gato cerca de un árbol.
The cat ran fast.
La niña corrió tras él.
She said, “Come back! Do not go far!”
El gato corrió debajo de un coche.
The girl looked and looked.
Llamó: “¡Aquí, gatito! ¡Aquí, gatito!”
A boy came and said, “Can I help?”
La niña dijo: “Sí, por favor.
El gato está perdido.”
The boy said, “I will help you find it.”
Fueron al parque.
They looked behind the bench.
Miraron cerca del columpio.
They looked under the slide.
Por fin, el gato salió de un arbusto.
The girl said, “Oh, you are safe!”
El niño dijo: “Me alegro de que lo hayamos encontrado.”
The girl picked up the cat and held it close.
El gato ronroneó y miró a la niña.
She said, “I will not let you go far again.”
El niño sonrió y dijo: “Ahora estás feliz.”
The girl and the boy walked home.
El gato caminó con ellos.
They were glad and tired.
Paso 3
The Lost Cat
One day, a girl went out to find her cat.
She saw the cat near a tree.
The cat ran fast.
The girl ran after it.
She said, “Come back! Do not go far!”
The cat ran under a car.
The girl looked and looked.
She called, “Here, kitty! Here, kitty!”
A boy came and said, “Can I help?”
The girl said, “Yes, please. The cat is lost.”
The boy said, “I will help you find it.”
They went to the park.
They looked behind the bench.
They looked near the swing.
They looked under the slide.
At last, the cat came out from a bush.
The girl said, “Oh, you are safe!”
The boy said, “I am glad we found it.”
The girl picked up the cat and held it close.
The cat purred and looked at the girl.
She said, “I will not let you go far again.”
The boy smiled and said, “You are happy now.”
The girl and the boy walked home.
The cat walked with them.
They were glad and tired.
