Paso 1
El viaje a la granja
Un sábado, un niño y una niña fueron a una granja.
El niño dijo: “Me gustan los animales.”
La niña dijo: “A mí también me gustan.”
Vieron vacas.
Las vacas dijeron: “Muu, muu.”
La niña se rió y dijo: “¡Son tan grandes!”
El niño dijo: “Sí, y comen mucho.”
Luego vieron gallinas.
Las gallinas corrieron y cacarearon.
El niño dijo: “¡Mira los pollitos!”
La niña dijo: “Quiero sostener uno.”
El granjero dijo: “Cuidado, son pequeños.”
Fueron a ver los cerdos.
Los cerdos se revolcaban en el barro.
El niño dijo: “Los cerdos están sucios.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, pero parecen felices.”
Después de eso, alimentaron a las cabras.
Las cabras comieron el heno y saltaron por todas partes.
El niño dijo: “¡Quiero llevarme una cabra a casa!”
La niña dijo: “No podemos.
Deben quedarse aquí.”
Al final del día, el niño y la niña se sentaron bajo un árbol.
Bebieron agua y miraron la granja.
El niño dijo: “Tuve un buen día.”
La niña dijo: “Yo también.
Volveré otra vez.”
El sol se puso.
Se despidieron de los animales y caminaron a casa, felices y cansados.
Paso 3
The Trip to the Farm
One Saturday, a boy and a girl went to a farm.
El niño dijo: “Me gustan los animales.”
The girl said, “I like them too.”
Vieron vacas.
The cows said, “Moo, moo.”
La niña se rió y dijo: “¡Son tan grandes!”
The boy said, “Yes, and they eat a lot.”
Luego vieron gallinas.
The chickens ran and clucked.
El niño dijo: “¡Mira los pollitos!”
The girl said, “I want to hold one.”
El granjero dijo: “Cuidado, son pequeños.”
They went to see the pigs.
Los cerdos se revolcaban en el barro.
The boy said, “The pigs are dirty.”
La niña dijo: “Sí, pero parecen felices.”
After that, they fed the goats.
Las cabras comieron el heno y saltaron por todas partes.
The boy said, “I want to take a goat home!”
La niña dijo: “No podemos.
Deben quedarse aquí.”
At the end of the day, the boy and girl sat under a tree.
Bebieron agua y miraron la granja.
The boy said, “I had a good day.”
La niña dijo: “Yo también.
Volveré otra vez.”
The sun went down.
Se despidieron de los animales y caminaron a casa, felices y cansados.
Paso 3
The Trip to the Farm

The boy said, “I like animals.”
The girl said, “I like them too.”
They saw cows.
The cows said, “Moo, moo.”
The girl laughed and said, “They are so big!”
The boy said, “Yes, and they eat a lot.”
Then they saw chickens.
The chickens ran and clucked.
The boy said, “Look at the little chickens!”
The girl said, “I want to hold one.”
The farmer said, “Be careful. They are small.”
They went to see the pigs.
The pigs rolled in the mud.
The boy said, “The pigs are dirty.”
The girl said, “Yes, but they look happy.”
After that, they fed the goats.
The goats ate the hay and jumped around.
The boy said, “I want to take a goat home!”
The girl said, “We cannot. They must stay here.”
At the end of the day, the boy and girl sat under a tree.
They drank water and watched the farm.
The boy said, “I had a good day.”
The girl said, “Me too. I will come again.”
The sun went down.
They said goodbye to the animals and walked home, happy and tired.
