Paso 1
Un día en el parque
Un día, un niño y una niña fueron al parque.
Tenían una pelota.
El niño dijo: “Yo lanzaré la pelota.”
La niña dijo: “Yo la atraparé.”
El niño lanzó la pelota bien alto.
La niña corrió rápido.
Ella atrapó la pelota y corrió de vuelta.
El niño dijo: “¡Buen trabajo!”
Ambos se rieron.
Entonces vieron un perro.
El perro corrió hacia la pelota.
La niña dijo: “El perro quiere jugar.”
El niño dijo: “Podemos jugar con el perro.”
Lanzaron la pelota, y el perro corrió a buscarla.
Después de eso, se sentaron en un banco.
El niño dijo: “Estoy cansado.”
La niña dijo: “Yo también estoy cansada.”
Bebieron un poco de agua y vieron el sol ponerse.
Un hombre vino y dijo: “Es hora de ir a casa.”
El niño dijo: “¡Adiós, parque!”
La niña dijo: “¡Adiós, perro!”
El perro ladró una última vez.
Luego, el niño y la niña caminaron a casa, tomados de la mano.
Estaban felices.
Paso 2
A Day at the Park
One day, a boy and a girl went to the park.
Tenían una pelota.
The boy said, “I will throw the ball.”
La niña dijo: “Yo la atraparé.”
The boy threw the ball high.
La niña corrió rápido.
She caught the ball and ran back.
El niño dijo: “¡Buen trabajo!”
They both laughed.
Entonces vieron un perro.
The dog ran to the ball.
La niña dijo: “El perro quiere jugar.”
The boy said, “We can play with the dog.”
Lanzaron la pelota, y el perro corrió a buscarla.
After that, they sat on a bench.
El niño dijo: “Estoy cansado.”
The girl said, “I am tired too.”

A man came and said, “It is time to go home.”
El niño dijo: “¡Adiós, parque!”
The girl said, “Goodbye, dog!”
El perro ladró una última vez.
Then the boy and girl walked home, hand in hand.
Estaban felices.
Paso 3
A Day at the Park
One day, a boy and a girl went to the park.
They had a ball.
The boy said, “I will throw the ball.”
The girl said, “I will catch it.”
The boy threw the ball high.
The girl ran fast.
She caught the ball and ran back.
The boy said, “Good job!”
They both laughed.
Then they saw a dog.
The dog ran to the ball.
The girl said, “The dog wants to play.”
The boy said, “We can play with the dog.”
They threw the ball, and the dog ran to get it.
After that, they sat on a bench.
The boy said, “I am tired.”
The girl said, “I am tired too.”
They drank some water and watched the sun go down.
A man came and said, “It is time to go home.”
The boy said, “Goodbye, park!”
The girl said, “Goodbye, dog!”
The dog barked one last time.
Then the boy and girl walked home, hand in hand.
They were happy.
