Paso 1
El vecino amable
Un día, un niño vio a un vecino cargando muchas bolsas.
Él dijo: “¿Puedo ayudarte?”
El vecino sonrió y dijo: “Sí, eso sería amable de tu parte.”
El niño tomó una bolsa, y el vecino otra.
Juntos caminaron hasta la casa.
El niño dijo: “Es mucho trabajo.”
El vecino dijo: “Sí, pero es importante.”
Pusieron las bolsas en la cocina.
Luego el niño vio un pajarito afuera.
Él dijo: “¡Mira ese pájaro!”
El vecino dijo: “Es diferente de los otros.”
Observaron al pájaro por un rato.
El niño dijo: “Me gusta ayudarte.”
El vecino dijo: “Tienes razón. Ayudar es bueno.”
Después de eso, el niño fue a su casa.
Pensó: “Se siente bien ser amable.”
Le dijo a su hermana: “También podemos ayudar a otros.”
La hermana dijo: “Sí, hace una gran diferencia.”
Al fin, el niño salió otra vez.
Vio a otro vecino que necesitaba ayuda.
Corrió y dijo: “¡Puedo ayudarte!”
El vecino sonrió, y el niño se sintió feliz y orgulloso de hacer algo correcto.
Paso 2
The Kind Neighbor
One day, a boy saw a neighbor carrying many bags.
Él dijo: “¿Puedo ayudarte?”
The neighbor smiled and said, “Yes, that would be kind of you.”
El niño tomó una bolsa, y el vecino otra.
Together, they walked to the house.
El niño dijo: “Es mucho trabajo.”
The neighbor said, “Yes, but it is important.”
Pusieron las bolsas en la cocina.
Then the boy saw a small bird outside.
Él dijo: “¡Mira ese pájaro!”
The neighbor said, “It is different from the others.”
Observaron al pájaro por un rato.
The boy said, “I like helping you.”
El vecino dijo: “Tienes razón. Ayudar es bueno.”
After that, the boy went to his house.
Pensó: “Se siente bien ser amable.”
He said to his sister, “We can help others too.”
La hermana dijo: “Sí, hace una gran diferencia.”
At last, the boy went outside again.
Vio a otro vecino que necesitaba ayuda.
He ran and said, “I can help you!”
El vecino sonrió, y el niño se sintió feliz y orgulloso de hacer algo correcto.
Paso 3
The Kind Neighbor
One day, a boy saw a neighbor carrying many bags.
He said, “Can I help you?”
The neighbor smiled and said, “Yes, that would be kind of you.”
The boy took one bag, and the neighbor took another.
Together, they walked to the house.
The boy said, “It is a lot of work.”
The neighbor said, “Yes, but it is important.”
They put the bags in the kitchen.
Then the boy saw a small bird outside.
He said, “Look at that bird!”
The neighbor said, “It is different from the others.”
They watched the bird for a while.
The boy said, “I like helping you.”
The neighbor said, “You are right. Helping is good.”
After that, the boy went to his house.
He thought, “It feels good to be kind.”
He said to his sister, “We can help others too.”
The sister said, “Yes, it makes a big difference.”
At last, the boy went outside again.
He saw another neighbor who needed help.
He ran and said, “I can help you!”
The neighbor smiled, and the boy felt happy and proud to do something right.
