Paso 1
Probando algo nuevo
Un día, una niña dijo a su hermano: “Quiero probar algo nuevo.”
Su hermano dijo: “¿Qué harás?”
Ella dijo: “Haré un pequeño barco para que flote en el agua.”
Fueron al río.
La niña dijo: “Necesito algunos palos y hojas.”
Su hermano dijo: “Te ayudaré.”
Juntos trabajaron con cuidado.
Por fin, el barco estaba listo.
La niña dijo: “Lo pondré en el agua.”
Ella lo vio flotar.
Su hermano dijo: “¡Funciona! No se hundirá.”
Luego vieron una rana cerca del río.
La niña dijo: “¡Mira la rana! Es pequeña pero fuerte.”
Su hermano dijo: “Sí, vive aquí con los peces y las aves.”
Después de un rato, la niña dijo: “Es hora de ir a casa.”
Su hermano dijo: “Sí, pero mañana podemos volver a probar otro barco.”
La niña dijo: “Me alegro de que hayamos trabajado juntas.”
Su hermano dijo: “Yo también. Probar cosas nuevas es divertido.”
Caminaron a casa, felices y orgullosos de lo que hicieron.
Dijeron: “Mañana mostraremos el barco a nuestros amigos.”
Paso 2
Trying Something New
One day, a girl said to her brother, “I want to try something new.”
Su hermano dijo: “¿Qué harás?”
She said, “I will make a small boat to float on the water.”
Fueron al río.
The girl said, “I need some sticks and leaves.”
Su hermano dijo: “Te ayudaré.”
Together, they worked carefully.
Por fin, el barco estaba listo.
The girl said, “I will put it in the water.”
Ella lo vio flotar.
Her brother said, “It works! It will not sink.”
Luego vieron una rana cerca del río.
The girl said, “Look at the frog! It is small but strong.”
Su hermano dijo: “Sí, vive aquí con los peces y las aves.”
After a while, the girl said, “It is time to go home.”
Su hermano dijo: “Sí, pero mañana podemos volver a probar otro barco.”
The girl said, “I am glad we worked together.”
Su hermano dijo: “Yo también. Probar cosas nuevas es divertido.”
They walked home, happy and proud of what they made.
Dijeron: “Mañana mostraremos el barco a nuestros amigos.”
Paso 3
Trying Something New
One day, a girl said to her brother, “I want to try something new.”
Her brother said, “What will you do?”
She said, “I will make a small boat to float on the water.”
They went to the river.
The girl said, “I need some sticks and leaves.”
Her brother said, “I will help you.”
Together, they worked carefully.
At last, the boat was ready.
The girl said, “I will put it in the water.”
She watched it float.
Her brother said, “It works! It will not sink.”
Then they saw a frog near the river.
The girl said, “Look at the frog! It is small but strong.”
The brother said, “Yes, it lives here with the fish and birds.”
After a while, the girl said, “It is time to go home.”
Her brother said, “Yes, but we can come back tomorrow to try another boat.”
The girl said, “I am glad we worked together.”
Her brother said, “Me too. Trying something new is fun.”
They walked home, happy and proud of what they made.
They said, “Tomorrow we will show the boat to our friends.”
